Magnets
I need stock for Incub8r and Bleeding Heart Galleries so I have been making magnets today. I thought they would make great little stocking fillers for Christmas seeing it is coming up pretty soon. Here are some I have made recently.

Sunday Supper
I have two quick recipes from the box this week. When you work during the day you really do not feel like cooking when you get home but I did not want to get takeaway as we do not really have many good ones around here. Both of these were prepared and cooked within 30 minutes.
Cutlets Cacciatore
This was such a quick, simple and tasty dish that will become a staple in our house. We put pasta on the side instead of rice (I should have put some steamed veges on as well but I was being lazy). We only have to feed the two of us so the left over sauce went into the freezer to make even faster food next time.
Hamburgers
The old Tupperware Hamburger Shaper I received as a gift at some party many moons ago came out of the cupboard for this one. I did not think I would get my mouth around the one in the photo on the card. I had to squirt some American mustard in the mix as I did not have any dry mustard. These were pretty good and much better than Macca's. We put cheese and Avocado on ours as well. Yummmm! We also have four meat patties left over for quick snacks.
I have made a couple of dishes to have for afternoon tea today so I will put them on next week.

Sunday Supper
Spinach Lasagne
This one was reasonably good. I was lucky enough to visit the farmers markets during the week and used a roll of fresh pasta so I did not have to boil it. I also had some baby spinach so all I did was wash it and layer it over the sauce. There was also some leftover Swiss brown mushrooms I had to use up so they went in the pot too.I think it would be better with a couple more teaspoons of mixed herbs.
We usually have our Lasagne vegetarian. I like to make up a big pot of sauces with lots of eggplant, mushrooms, olives, a can of tomatoes, garlic, onions, mixed herbs, tomato paste and whatever else needs to be used up. I usually use the fresh pasta from the markets and layer it all up with mashed pumpkin, spinach and ricotta cheese in the middle. Copious amounts of Parmesan and Cheddar cheese usually find their way in as well as the bechemel sauce. Yum.

Sunday Supper
Beef Stroganoff
This recipe tasted better than the one that turned up in Coles after a Masterchef challenge. It was all prepared and cooked within 30 minutes with very little effort. The only thing I added was several shakes of the Paprika spice bottle ( I know shakes is not the most technical of terms)and a bit of olive oil.
If you do not eat red meat I reckon you could make this just as well with chicken or if you are vegetarian use a heap of extra mushrooms. I'm going to have a go at the other recipe on this card as well.

I love my pets to bits, they make my life worth living. The majority of them are rescue animals. They seem to want to be with me all the time and keep me constant company. I wish I could take them everywhere with me. They will be flying to Melbourne with us when we do the big move. We are going to look very strange standing outside Tullamarine Airport with 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 Galahs and 2 Cockatiels. We have budgies and fish at the moment as well but the birds are quite old and I don't think fish fly too well so homes will be found for them.
In our long term plan we hope to move out to some acreage and get some alpacas or llamas, chooks, goats etc. My ultimate pet would be a camel and I hope to add one to my menagerie one day. What sort of pets do you guys have and what creature would be your ultimate pet?
