I had my neighbours over for afternoon tea last Sunday so I made these. The recipes made so many that we were still eating them this weekend and we still have some in the freezer. They were very yummy.
I could not find any sausage mince at the supermarket and I had run out of mixed herbs so our sausage rolls ended up being Moroccan flavoured as I substituted lamb mince and used up some spice mix in the cupboard. I also could not find any Gruyere cheese so I had to substitute Parmesan in the quiches but everyone loved the results anyway.
I had a Birthday this week so I also made a Baked Sour Cream Cheese Cake to take to work. It proved very popular with my work mates and I will put it up in a couple of weeks as I will be in Melbourne next week end looking at lots of art and eating plenty of food.
They look great! I've wanted to try making sausage rolls for ever - I'll have to try this recipe. Thanks for showing us that we can all do this in our own homes. I also love how you just substituted things that weren't available. Thanks for sharing.
